  I have successfully compiled the Linux version of the ADT program
(Raphael Assenat's version) using Xcode, the free development
environment provided by Apple. It works from the Terminal UNIX command
line.

  One change you have to make is to the /dev/tty.... device file that
is opened by the program, either the hardcoded version or the -d
command line option, to match whatever device file represents your
serial device. I have a Belkin USB-serial adapter, and found an
almost-complete device driver on SourceForge. I don't know if your
adapter has a Mac OS X driver provided by the manufacturer or by a
similar homebrew project.

  I'm reluctant to release my version because I have made a couple
changes in the process of adding 400 & 800k disk support, and some
extra "debug" commands from the ADT running on the Apple. I also don't
know all the rules for compiling Mac OS X binaries so that they run on
all version of Mac OS X, etc.

  If you are comfortable with Xcode I could send you the files I have,
for whatever that is worth. I feel there are still bugs lurking there,
but I've also successfully transferred multiple disks.
