Congratulations!

It's about 50/50 on fuses--half the time one just pops because
of repeated inrush current surges (like yours).  The other half
of the time, they pop because something worst has happened.

If it isn't obvious which case it is (because of heat damage
or other evidence), then replacing the fuse is a reasonable
approach.  If it blows again, then it's the second (harder)
case, if it fixes the device, rejoice!

Once in a blue moon, it is an even harder third case:  the
fuse appears to fix the problem, but the real fault is an
intermittent, and the fuse will blow again soon.  It's good
that this case is rare, because finding intermittent faults
is a real pain.
