Patching the system 6 desktop background

I once had a nifty utility that would patch the IIGS desktop background 
to a pattern. It would actually patch the file, not overlay a 
background. This means that even when shift booting, I'd get the custom 
background. UNfotunetly, I forgot what the program was called, so I 
don't recall where I got it from. Does anybody remember what it was?

I'm certain it was shareware or freeware, so it's probably on ground or 
caltech.
