Actually, the "standard" modification defined by Apple, to move the
century window to 1940..2039, is quite practical and "bug" free.
The "bugs" you may refer to have to do with date sorting, and affect
certain utility programs, not ProDOS (which is date insensitive).
The only changes required are related to comparing and formatting
dates (years) for printing if more than 2 digits are desired.
