Actually there were a few variants of this RGB card over the years. The
one I have which is simply labelled 'RGB Card' has an output compatible
with the AppleColor 100 monitor. I believe this was later renamed to
the 'Digital Prism' option card.
The board I'm referring to known as the ColorLink RGB option for
RamWorks contains both an Apple RGB analog output and an IBM style CGA
output. This is a much better card, as it avoids having to add
circuitry to the RGB card I have to make the output compatible with
more common monitor types.
FWIW, I actually convert the output of my RGB card to analog using a
resistor network (of the same design as the the one inside the
AppleColor Monitor 100) and then to svideo for display on a television.
This way, I can have decent RGB output and traditional composite output
by switching inputs on the TV.
Cheers,
Matt
