You are so concerned about production costs that you overlook the fact that
filling that DVD with the scans is an enormous job. All pages present on that
disc have not been lifted from an existing archive but are scanned page by page.
All those hours spent deserve a price higher than the cost of a DVD.
I do agree that 140 dollar is a bit over the top for this. I would buy it for 50
dollar.
