Help installing ZIP drive

Ok, i have a IIGS, and 2 scsi cards ( one ramfast, the other a regular
AppleII SCSI ), and a 100mb SCSI zip drive..
Iv'e run the advanced disk util on the floppies, but it never gives me any
other choices then the floppy..
Is there something else i need to do to get the zip hardware to be seen? I
thought i just plugged in a card, and booted off GS/OS and it took care of
the rest?
The last time i did this was many many years ago, and it was a *real* hard
drive, and i dont remember doing anything special.. ( hard drive is long
gone now anyway and all i have is one apple 3.5" drive )
