ancient stuff/rumors of existence ie ramblings

i know i've been on here stating that i have a lot of apple ii stuff
(collect this stuff since 1983 ..save it from landfills and you will be in
the same boat..maybe worse with ebay)..mostly i rant about this so others
will hopefully jump in and tell me to get some of this stuff archived i have
and out there..but i often think about the guys who were before me and the
stuff they must have collected from the period of the apple 1 to 1983 when i
started...

anyway..i did not even start this till around 1983 or so. Some stuff i know
exists out there but can't find or just want people to upload a .pdf of
manual or maybe shoot some info to bill garber and his group..maybe they
could re-awaken it..so to speak....it is annoying when you remember
instructions on how to build an 8" drive controller from scratch as a
kit..yet no one has said kit anymore

so anyway some stuff below i know (or think i know) used to exist...stir the
bottom of the apple ii pot so to speak see what rises to the top

8" Drive Controller Kit ..there was a guy in canada who sent you a blank
card (not sure i think it was just an apple prototype card) and directions
(and maybe the parts) at the very least a list of parts off the shelf and
software for you to build your own 8" drive controller for an apple ii...so
if you have this item give a shout there are people on here might want to
build one. He also had this kinda thing for eprom cards and other cards etc

An Adaptec? Host controller card to run shugart 8" hard drives from back in
the day.....barely sasi it was..maybe even mfm

ohio kache card accessory addon for printer/other ports etc..came in a clear
plastic case you see it in A+/Incider ads from back in the day

Compulynx/Digicard/Mastery Development network setup disks..ie software...a
lot of us have this stuff but they make good boat anchors as of now.

Safehouse BBS Software (ie AppleNet Dos 3.3..later prodos version) he ran a
bbs in twin cities in 1982 or so ran a dual line apple // bbs setup with 3
apple //e's and 2 corvus 20mb etc..had chat between phone lines /users/ etc
etc....this is not the same guy who made applenet later in georgia...

various robot projects from the day...how they were built..most were just
plans that could be made from radio shack stuff today.

of course the novation modem card mods to get free phone calls/hack back in
the day..(be neat to look at..of course would not work today)

the X10 stuff for turining on/off lights appliances etc with an apple //
..could prob be done today with off the shelf parts

anyway...thats all that comes to mind...anyone else have any thoughts on
this
