Re: Apple ][ diagnostic disk

Hi everyone,

I still have my Apple ][ europlus 48k+language card 16K+"chat mauve" card for scart TV output and floppy disk.
(collector for me :) )

It doesn't run since 1985.
Now, I'd tried to make it run again. But, if it boots OK on most of my olds menu disks, it hangs whatever I try to run. I remember had that kind of troubles in the old days and solve the problem using a diagnostic disk that tests the components and memory. I remember that disk shows me exactly the defect memory in a map of the motherboard. Unfortunatly, I gave that disk to someone who never return it to me .

If it successfully boots a disk and displays a menu, then almost
everything is working. The only possibility is one of the upper
banks of memory, which you might swap with another machine.
