    It took a bit longer than that, a full 12 second to capture the NTSC
video source, plus an additional few seconds for the software to then 
process the final image. You could cut that time in half by reducing
the capture quality (not recommended in my opinon).

    There were actually two products: a ComputerEyes IIe and the
Color ComputerEyes GS. The latter let you capture not only in 
Hi-Res/Double-Hi-Res, but in Super-Hi-Res as well (320x200 with
4-bit color or greyscales). You could also save the captured image 
as a raw 6-bit color image to export to a PC or Mac.

    The final version of the software, which was GS/OS based rather
than an AppleWorks classic interface, was version 3.20. I still have
a clean copy if anyone needs it, or better yet, I can pass it on to
Syndicomm since they're the current distributor (their boxes look
newer than mine, so it may already come with 3.x).
