Re: Your favorite Apple II game?

Naming my absolute top one would be impossible, so what I'll do is
select one at random from my top dozen...

...doo dee doo dee doo dee doo...

...Paipec.

Some here may not have heard of it and I'm *damn* sure that no one
outside the currently-active A2 community would know about it. It's
obscure but it should have been a lot more popular. You can play it at
the virtualapple.com website.

The premise is simple: catch the falling thingies with your four
stacked platforms so they don't hit the city of Paipec. If you miss
one, you lose one of your platforms. If you lose all platforms, you
lose the game.

It is easily one of the best Apple II games ever - it's a bit like
Dance Dance Revolution in some ways. It's also fiendishly difficult,
and can get very frustrating, but in a good way.

If anyone does try this game at Virtual Apple, try it on one of the
harder levels first.

Next to Robotron: 2084, this is the most difficult game I've ever
played.
