The ST color monitors were a some form of RGB. I had a monochrome personally since i did 'work' and wasnt into games. Did have a rf modulator that output color to a TV tho.. The 8bit ataris had composite color.. ironically ive used my IIGS composite with my 8bit ataris.. Just the opposite of you :)
