All uppercase was used.

Steven,

Did you use lowercase characters when you type "init hello" etc? It is supposed to use uppercase characters only that DOS 3.3 supports.

Hello. I need a boot disk, I think.

Right now I have only one disk, which worked an hour ago, then I typed something by accident (fat-fingered it) and the disk drive ran for a second, now the disk seems corrupt. So I can't boot this disk anymore, booting with it brings me to the memory dump asterisk prompt. When I get out of that to a regular prompt. The disk commands do not work, but basic commands do work. So 'init hello' and 'catalog' and such give syntax errors, which I assume is because I can't boot this disk. I was under the impression that the iie rom contained enough information for me to format a new disk with init hello. I guess not. Now I have no good disks. Are there any tricks to get this disk reformatted? I need a couple blank dos3.3 disks so I can save my basic files. Can anyone help me here?
