I'm a lot more concerned about what may have been lost.  There was a
lot of software on binaries thats possibly gone for good.  It needs to
be preserved.  I found one site that has stuff going back to 1992.  But
I know for a fact that comp.binaries.apple2 went back to at least 1990
and probably earlier than that.

Here is the archive that I found dating back to August of 1992:
