I'm certain this has been covered somewhere, but I haven't located it yet.
I finally got an Apple IIGS (ROM 01) but I have not disks. I do happen to
have access to an older Macintosh running MacOS 9.2.2 (has DiskCopy 6.3.3
IIRC).
I grabbed the System 6.0.1 floppies and Apple II System Disk 3.2 from the
Apple site
(http://download.info.apple.com/Apple_Support_Area/Apple_Software_Updates/E
nglish-North_American/Apple_II/) and wrote the images with DiskCopy.
But they didn't work - I get the "unable to load prodos" message when I try
it on the real deal.
