I would be very interested to hear about _anything_ besides packaging that Jobs suggested. Woz initiated the color graphics, the game controllers, the speaker, the slots, the DRAM, etc. Woz designed a computer that could run the video games of the day, and many of the design attributes are a direct consequence of that.From what I've heard Woz say is that Jobs "came up with" the switching power supply for the II and designed the case. Woz gives Jobs great credit in the power supply that it was a huge leap to have a switching p/s. Ok, I'll give him that. If I find reference to that quote I'll post it, maybe it's on his site.
That sounds right. The transformer for a linear supply would have been a real problem for a low-profile case!
