I believe that when launching from GSOS it sets the current prefix to where
your program is located. This is the same as launching straight from
ProDOS 8 too. If you launch from BASIC.SYSTEM however it sets the current
directory to null.

Sure, you can always have your program call MLI SET_PREFIX to change it to
whatever you like.
