: What is the point? Does it act like
: 80 column card? RAM expansion as well?

Actually it does all of these. In Apple IIe mode it
performs all of the functions of the ram/80 column card.
In CP/M mode I believe it also uses these functions as well.

: What are the advantages of having an AUX
: slot Softcard? I know there are more signals
: available at the AUX slot. Which signals does
: it use that a normal slot z80 card does not?

Actually, the AUX slot has all of the signals of
the normal Apple II buss, and more. You could say
it's like having an entirely additional slot. It's
like having a slot 3 on the side. Plus there are
video, and ram enabled signals. I'm not sure where
offhand, but I have somewhere a file with descriptions
of all the Premium softcard signals, and also there
is a well laid out sheet with all of the aux slot
signals. It's also online somewhere, but it was passed
on to me by another CSA2'r. Seek and ye shall find, and
download, knock and the file shall be emailed to you.
