: Agreed--I don't even bother with such cards. I'm mostly interested

Speaking of which, I have quite the collection of parallel printer cards
I could let you have for a meager fee if you'd like to reverse engineer
them, or perhaps let you have them to reverse engineer on loan so I could
have schematics so I can mod them into dual direction cards. One or two of
them might already be dual direction compatible. I'm not sure. Would be nice
to be able to use them to pass data between it and a ECP or ECP port on PC.

: That's the way I got most of mine, too. But they are certainly cheaper
: than a prototyping card if you can use them to build a project. And the
: world is in no danger of "running out" of 1MB IIgs memory cards. ;-)
That's how I got most of what I have left. I've been looking at the
possibility of a 1-4 MB IIe memory card. I think I have enough info
now to accomplish it, but the cost is not pretty. I'm also not sure
how to make it AppleWorks compatible, which is what most people want.
Nope, the 1MB cards are still being offered on eBay and other areas
for very minimal cost.

: Yes, I exaggerated slightly--the best deal I've found was also
: five cents each--20 for a dollar. Of course, the point is that

Can you get that deal again, say in the 100's quantity??
