Both are ROM 01


Something strange on them....

With connectors UP, ensoniq down,
to the left of the ensoniq there are two
8 pin DIPs.  Down, directly below
the two DIPs, there is a tiny PCB
with 3 resistors, 1 3904 transistor.
One of the resistors is connected
to one of the small DIPs.

Anyone know what this mod is for?
I think these may be "prototype"
IIgs boards or factory mess-ups.  I
got them from someone who was
an employee at apple years ago.
