There are small hobbyist development boards
for USB projects.  You could easily construct
a USB to serial converter.  If you used a small
microntroller, you could also make a USB to
ADB converter.  This would make drivers
unnecessary.  You'd still have to code a
driver on the microcontroller to take the USB
data and convert it to ADB protocol
