LCD Flat Monitor to Apple IIe?

Hi,

i am trying to connect my iie to a monitor. unfortunately its very
difficult to find a apple compatible monitor from here (even a
monochrome). i know that there are plenty in ebay, but it's very
expensive to get it down here. So i am stuck with  my iie connected to
a tv card.... and the problem with that is picture rolls up.(sync
problem).

i can easily buy a used 15 inch LCD flat monitor (VGA), so i like to
know whether there is any video conversion box which will allow me to
connect the apple iie to the monitor. i need 80 column support.  all
the postings indicate that this is not possible...

is it possible to connect apple iie with a digital RGB card to LCD flat
monitor. any video conversion boxes? i read that iigs (RGB analong)
goes nicely with LCD monitor. http://members.cox.net/jimbocho/

or do i have to live with my tv card till someone comes up with a vga
card (cheaper than secondsight) for apple iie heh heh? ...

btw if anyone else is using tv card and 80 column is not clear, then
can use DScaler. which has some signal processing options that clears
up characters well.
