I use Dos Master because it works with a IIplus (sort of) whereas DOS
Launcher "you will need either: a ROM1 or ROM3 GS, a //c or //c+, or a 128K
enhanced //e." DOS Master is a great piece of software but I had to install
in on my gs before I could use it on my IIplus (the install program requires
a built in 80 column card). I use it in my Apple IIplus with a CFFA card and
a huge 16M SanDisk card. The problem with it is you can't boot except off
the 1st volume. For example, I set up my card with 100 partions of 140K to
match disk image sizes. I then copy a disk image into that volume but if
that image requires it to be booted, it doesn't work. Some cracked programs
won't work. This is where the SVD comes in. The SVD connects to the Disk II
controller and the Apple II thinks it is a disk drive. I'm thinking of
putting mine in an old broken Disk II case to give it the look of a disk
drive.
