Seller sets the price - buyer pays or does without until one comes along that suits the pocket book.
I think most of the contents that are on that CD are ethier still available from Apple or available on the net on various web sites.
Since these particular CD's are originals (NOS or maybe used?) I guess thay have some collectors value- hence the buy it now $$.
Personally I am interested in this CD strictly for the convienience factor and wether it's a copy or the original really makes no difference to me.
So I will wait for a better price to come along ...or start collecting the bits and pieces and start making my own collection.. :O)
As for the copyright holder - can anyone say where exactly, Apple is selling legit copies of this CD these days?
Syndicomm has Apple's permission to reproduce out of print Apple II manuals so maybe Eric can get their permission to distribute this CD as well?
