Don't think any software is necessary. They get their signals
through the 7 pin molex to the right-front of the motherboard.

The 2 pin molex goes to the speaker output on the motherboard,
for outputting the regular speaker sound through the sound card
and out of the set of external speakers. Most sound cards have
this.   :o)
