So I believe the answer is yes, Applesoft will require you enter
complete program lines in one line, just the way you have to type them in.
However, if you want work the way this example shows, consider putting 2
(or more) returns between separate lines then use your word processor to
eliminate the 'double' enters and leave single enters before you 'run' it.
