CiderPress v2.1.3 released
CiderPress v2.1.3 has been released, with some minor enhancements.
New features:
- Drives partitioned with ///SHH Systeme's MicroDrive card are now
supported. The card supports up to 16 partitions on IDE hard drives.
CiderPress lets you copy files and entire volumes to and from the
drive when you attach it to a PC.
Please see http://www.faddensoft.com/ciderpress/hardware.htm for
hardware compatibility notes. Win2K or WinXP may be required to
access non-PC hard drives.
- ProDOS handler now detects and complains about garbage in the volume
bitmap.
Bug fixes:
- Under Win9x/ME, new disk images weren't being zeroed out. This
left garbage in the last block of the volume bitmap, causing
ProDOS 8 to behave strangely and GS/OS to reject the image.
- Fixed a null reference when creating blank (unformatted) disk
image files. Also, don't try to open them after creation.
CiderPress is shareware, with a $9.95 registration fee. After 30 days
it must be registered.
