The issue has always been with the clarity of the output.  Most people
report that they get jaggies/wavering around 80 column text.  I understand
that the KansasFest demo may have shown a system that fixed such problems.

But, you're right - getting an LCD with composite video input is itself a
pretty trivial task.  Getting one with video input that makes 80 column
Apple II text look good, well, perhaps not so trivial.  :-)
