: Hi all,
:
: Just out of curiosity, how important (scale of 1-10) is it to snip the
: C29 and C30 capacitors out of the analog board?
:
: I just got a duo-disk with a -102 analog board and both of these
: capacitors are still in place.
:
: So - do I snip them or are they safe where they are at?
AFAIK, they are safe in anything but a IIgs. I did the mod
to both of mine and they work fine on all of the machines
I run them on, which is not many at this point being I prefer
using 2 single drives instead, but yes, go ahead and make
the changes. It will work fine, and eliminate any problems
you would have had otherwise.
