The quick solution is to locate the section where you typed "apple" to
locate this group. Instead of "apple" type "mac". You'll find a number of
comp.* groups related to the computer. FYI, my last experience with the
Mac folks of those groups was when asking about an old Mac... They told me
to throw it out and buy a new one.
If your ISP really doesn't have access to the Mac groups (I'd be amazed
since they have this one) there are a couple of alternatives. If you want
only to read what people have to say there is a free server called
allnews.readfreenews.net. If you want to post as well, there are a number
of pay servers available.
