No, what you are talking about are PROMS, that have limited life cycle, of n
reading/writing operations (ie. 10,000). An FPGA is made out of SRAM
elements, and you don't have to live with any limitation.

If the PAL's security chip hasn't been blown on those, it's very simple to
read the equations and duplicate them. I mean, if you send them to me, I'd
do it for you. Just gift me a few empty ones :-)

Jeri pops up now and then in comp.sys.cbm. I think the girl is just very
busy with her projects. She's achieved more than some people would even if a
day was made out of 48 hours! :-)
