: Mostly agree - but many people want this card so they can add a 3.5 drive
to
: their //e. However, the Liron/UniDisk 3.5 combo is harder for some people
: (especially outside North America) to acquire than a SD controller/Apple
3.5
: combo. It's become a hassle - which is harder to get, the SD controller or
: the UniDisk 3.5 <rhetorical question>? Both go for top dollar usually.
: Personally, I'd rather have a SD/Apple 3.5 on my //e - save the UniDisk
3.5
: for my old //c. Its faster too.
And, with the advent of CiderPress being able to read,
and in many cases write, a ProDOS 1440K disk, there
is more reason to have the SD on the IIe, or on any II
for that matter. I don't even pass MS-DOS disks to my
IIgs anymore. :o)
