: We sold our Apple ][e at a garage sale 10 years ago. But I kept our
: diskettes. And now I'd like to find a way to transfer our files to my
: XP machine.
:
: Specifically, we made an animation in Basic. I have read some posts
: about ASCII and modems. Can anyone point me to an article that gives a
: step-by-step guide. If I buy 2e diskette drive from eBay, can I plug
: that to the serial port on my XP machine? Or can I put those old 2e
: diskettes into my old 5" diskette drive on my Windows 3x machine
: assuming my PC is running one of these Apple emulators?
:
: Sorry if this has been asked a thousand times. I'm just a guy looking
: for a nostalgia. (It was either this, or trying on my old "Be tough
: like me, Mr. T t-shirt.)

How many disks are we talking about. If there are not too
awfully many I can convert them to usable images for an A2
emulator for you. All I need is postage back to you and small
amount for my time. Let me know.
