	It indeed was Linux. This was a couple of years after Linus asked the
community which direction Linux should take (networking or desktop - I
suggested both). I got my comp. sci. degree in 1991 so it was about that
time. The guy running the BBS (Victor) graduated either the year before or
the year after. I can't remember the exact date, but it was up to two
years after. As I said *about* 15 years ago. The system was pretty simple.
He could have tweaked and compiled BSD code for all I know... What ever it
was, it worked with my GS.

	No kidding. It seems the local *NIX user group has more members at each
meeting. A great deal of happy people as well.
