Dear Santa, for x-mas, my Apple ][ wants ...

Lots of talented elves have a knack for turning out production-quality
products for Apple II Users: PS/2 Mouse Adapter, CFFA Card, AnyCard ][,
Contiki. What's left on your list for presents this year? What are the things
you want to see under the tree or at KFest? These people are looking for ideas
people would buy and use.

1. Wireless Printer Modules for IW2, DeskJet, Laser
2. Modern Monitor Adapters for larger screens and print
3. Function Keys
4. Cell Phone-Modem Adapter to use your free weekend minutes on the net with
your Apple II
5. Net camera for picture-in-a-picture. My current idea of PIP now is to
watch an inverse reflection of the tv screen behind me on the computer monitor.
 Works great in AppleWorks.
6. External slot for //c
7. LCD Projector for wall size screens--okay, you can probably do this now,
just very expensive--try eBay. The elves are busy enough. Oh, you want one
that projects from the INSIDE of the Apple II case? Great idea!
8. Adapter to add sound to the Apple Monitor to use the monitor for a TV
monitor.
9. MPEG viewer card
10. More Speed
11. More RAM Memory
12. Bigger Hard Drive
13. New Programs--What kind?
13a. TOT: A new TimeOut module = TimeOut Total--a column calculator that
works in the word processor. Type out that mail order, then highlight the
prices and TO.Total will cut-and-paste in the total of your purchases. Sure,
you might just think that it's a bunch of tot, but I'd use it often.
13b. BIT: Bitmapped Icon Transposer-- to near-effortlessly update the
Bitmapped icons in games to more modern ones: still zapping away, "Space
Invaders" becomes "Pokemon Challenge," "BC's Race for Tires" turns into "Sonic
the Hedgehog's New Wheels," "Sticky Bear Town Builder" is rebuilt into "Sim
City," and "Little Computer Person" transforms into "The Sims."
13c. DIE: Disk Image Engine--runs disk images directly on a real ][.
13d. ART: Another new TimeOut module: Artwork Relaxing Time -- Allows most
any computer graphic program to be used as an AfterWork screen saver display.
I like the Fountain, but I'd LOVE to have Melbourne.Oz from Nibble's Two-Liners
have AW5.1 building skyscrapers on the screen when the computer was not being
used.
14. Battery pack and converter to power your //c and a color LCD panel at the
beach as in 2001. 'Bout time, eh?
