Ugh. In my experience the AppleColor composite monitors lacked comb filters, so a regular composite video signal looked HORRIBLE, with relentless dot crawl.

Comb filters weren't needed to display the Apple II's video signal, since it was non-interlaced and every line's color burst was clocked the same...
