First, you have posted to the incorrect newsgroup.  This group
is devoted to the Apple II, the 8-bit microcomputer that created
the company, Apple Computer, long before the Mac.  Check
out newsgroups with "mac" in the name.

Second, the battery of the iBook is meant to be left in at
all times, except during extended storage (months).  It is
not subject to "memory" effects from frequent recharging.
