Anyone can use an emulator.....but I think that the main point of the
excitement for me, at least with regards to the C64 DTV, is that it's
re-introducing the C64 to the world that probably wouldn't bother to
use an emulator...it's an official off-the-shelf product.  So what if
you can't play Half-Life on it..it's still fun.  You can open it and
wire a keyboard to it and the Disk port to the board....but I hope that
they'll include a hook up and some sort of storage on it so you can
program it and actually save your work.  That's something that sets it
apart from the other 'Arcade-in-a-stick' products...it a computer that
one can learn on and develop for in-a-stick I would see much more
long-term usage of a product like that.  Apple should loosen up on some
older technology..or put it out themselves as a tribute to their
history.  I drop my shorts for an Apple IIgs in-a-stick.
