The problem may be quite simple, or it may be quite complex.  It will
take some electronic diagnosis to determine the situation.

I replied to a recent "power supply" thread regarding the possibilities
if a supply is blowing fuses...

They certainly do if they haven't been cut off!

The typical PC power supply will have at least two, and often four,
of the 4-pin storage device power connectors.
