Am I right in assuming that the //e 5.25 controller can only support up
to two 5.25 drives, just like the good ol' Disk II?
Does the OS make a difference i.e. DOS 3.3 / ProDOS 8 / Pascal?
I have a //e with a 5.25 controller, two Apple 5.25 drives and an Apple
3.5 drive. Currently the 3.5 is plugged in at the end of the daisy
chain but I don't know how to make use of it. Have I already fried it?
If it is possible for me to use it with my current hardware, or do I
need a new controller card?
I've heard mention of something to the effect that if you have a 3.5 and
a 5.25 in the same daisy chain, the 3.5 has to come first or it can't be
accessed. Does this advice only apply to the IIgs?
