One last note: I wrote some code to load and relocate the program, but
it didn't work. It turns out the code is relying on the non-autostart ROM
behavior, i.e. BRK always going to $FF65 instead of through a vector at
$3F0. Placing $65 $FF at $3F0 allowed the program to start. Without that,
the BRK went to $FFFF, which would wrap around and eventually hit a BRK
on the direct page, and loop forever.
Before this, I would have said, "the nice thing about these old cassettes
is that there's no copy protection"...
