You know, it's simply amazing. The original message is still on my news
server, but all of the replies have disappeared. Oh, the fun of dealing
with Road Runner and Usenet.
Anyways John (and Brad if I remember), I have the disk, actually two
originals, and both verify successfully. They appear to be just
standard DOS 3.3 disks. Verified them with Copy II Plus. I suppose I
could have tried booting them, but I figured if they verify, they'd be
good disks. I suppose I could put the controller card into my IIe and
test it thoroughly, but I suppose I'd also have to dig out a higher
density disk for the Elite III.
Now, if someone has a way for me to get them from an Apple II with 5.25
and 3.5 to a couple of Macs with no floppy drive, I'd be happy to put
them someplace accessible, other John, we'll have to work something out.
