Completely diskless (locally). I do have a "DuoDisk" unit, but I do not
wish to use it since no other computer system (that I have) can handle
the disks.
Ideally, I will use the cassette interface to bootstrap the system with
code that activates a faster interface. Such as Super Serial, or perhaps
the "ap2222pc" method (serial comms over a game port line). I am mostly
interested in transferring data *to* the Apple...
I.e., the PIC will function
essentially as a boot EPROM -- since I can easily program PICs, but
have long since lost the capability to burn traditional EPROMS as found
inside the Apple (and, a hack that requires no internal hardware mods
is aesthetically nicer in some ways).
