But the keyswitching may be worth looking.  I once developed a problem
on my Mac Plus keyboard, and it turned out I could get a replacement keyswitch
off an earlier Apple product.  Since I had expected that interchangeability,
I now expect that one might pick up a keyswitch that way.

Another possibility is to swap keyswitches on the same keyboard.  There
may be one someone finds they don't use that much, so swapping it for the key
that is used at least makes the problem less of a problem even if it doesn't
make it go away.
