Swamped!
My Apple IIgs is now heading for being totally mad. In addition to
RamFAST, TWGS with 14MHz, Audio Animator etc... I just got a Video
Overlay Card on eBay :D
However, I am utterly swamped with computers and I can't use/cope with
maintaining them all. I've clearly reached critical mass. The IIgs,
Platinum //e, //c with LCD are all good, sensible machines, but I also
have so many other systems...
Number one "why did I buy that" is my TK2000-II. Brazilian Apple II
clone, looks like an Atari 1200XL. Pondering eBay for that one.
My other main problem right now is my fileserver. I have 8 Macs which
are utterly redundant and could easily be replaced by my Apple Workgroup
Server 95, except, it's lacking the SCSI/L2 Cache board (which makes it
an AWS95) and the 5-drive cage. I have an easy solution - heh - if I was
in the US, I could buy a complete AWS95 from Shreve for $99.
So, does anyone want a 'cheap' Quadra 950? Still has onboard SCSI and
will run AU/X well? I will buy an AWS95 from Shreve, and in exchange for
sending me the PDS card, drive cage and cables, you can keep the
resulting Quadra 950. I'll even send a Quadra 950 front panel :).
Shipping the bits should cost about $30 I reckon.
