Hello all,
I have a very strange problem I have been playing with for a
while here. I am trying to do "Null Modem" transfers via my PC with
Hypertermain to my Apple //e with ProTERM 3.1
I have ADT working just fine with the SSC settings for that and even
ProTerm 2.0 works well. Just can't seem to get ProTERM 3.1 up and
rolling. I set up
a "system" in ProTerm called "LOCAL", 9600, and no phone number. On
the PC side, I open the COM1 port and on the Apple //e side I tell
ProTERM to Dial. ProTERM sees the connection and if I send characters
from the PC to the Apple //e REALLY SLOW. They show up, but anything
faster and it prints the first character and nothing else (once in a
while it'll print an extra character I sent.)
Example:
PC sends: TESTING123
ProTerm shows: T
I have tried this at just about any baud rate (300,1200,9600)
PC sends: TESTING123TESTING123
ProTerm shows: TT2T
I am certain the connection is working as it works fine with ADT and
ProTerm 2.0. Very strange.
Any insight would be appreciated.
Kellion...
