I use a 1084SD2 on mine - stereo speakers and amp, too, so nice.
I made the cable - Unless you can find low-profile DB connectors without the
sort of clamp for holding the pins, you need to file them down to fit the
precise holes Apple (and Commodore for that matter) left for connectors.
