As an alternative to the available and kit ethernet cards, I've have been
recently fiddling with a Cisco Router. These routers have serial ports on
them, which can be used to connect to an Apple II. You can then use the
router as a telnet gateway, or the routers also have SLIP and PPP, so that
you can use Marinetti to connect. The router is a little cryptic to
configure, but there is help and manuals online. I'm currently using a
Cisco 1700 series. These are a little pricy used, but a 1005 I believe will
do all that you would need, and can be had pretty cheap....
