You'd likely be safe to make the offer. The Superdrive card is a pretty complicated card. It has a 65C02, ROM, RAM and several GALs. Basically a computer on a card which operates the drive. It'd probably be a lot more feasible to get a BlueDisk controller instead or if they're no longer available you could talk to the designer about acqiring the design. Wayne
