With the exception of ZipGS you have to set the slot to "your card" to
use a card in that slot.
With the ROM 3 in GS/OS you can have slot 4 set to "your card" and still
retain the use of the mouse. That would let you use a card in slot 4.
That won't work if you need a mouse in 8 bit programs though.
If that's the case I'd go

Slot 1: Super Serial Card
Slot 2: LanceGS
Slot 3: Rev 1.02 ZIPGSx
Slot 4: Apple Rev C SCSI card
Slot 5: Apple Superdrive controller card
Slot 6:
Slot 7: CFFA card

I'd leave the 3.5" and 5.25" drives connected to the disk port. If you
have a need to use the 3.5" drive on the disk port then you can just
change the slot setting and reboot.

If you can get the LanceGS working then maybe you can ditch the Super
Serial card but in the meantime you're stuck with switching between the
slot and port.
